Vintage Plaid Puppy Dress, Size 5-6 Years

We are excited to offer some styles from our vintage children's fashion archive in the Private Sale this year.

This darling cotton school dress is trimmed in black rickrack and features an engineered print of plaid puppy dogs playing around the skirt. A separate sash can be tied in a bow at the back, or removed altogether.  It measures 25" around the chest, 23" around the waist and is 20.5" long from center back neck to hem, which correlates to a modern size 5-6 years. 

In very good vintage condition, there is one small threadbare spot smaller than a pencil eraser on the left side of the skirt near the waist . 

The dress zips up the back. There are no brand or size tags, but the sophisticated construction indicates it was mass produced and not home made.
